Alina Gishyan is an Armenian ceramic artist whose work brings together traditional craftsmanship, cultural memory and emerging technologies.
Working across ceramics and AI-assisted creative practice, her art explores the relationship between ancient forms, symbolism and contemporary technological culture, creating a dialogue between tactile human craftsmanship and digital systems.
Since 2004, Alina has developed a body of work rooted in Armenian artistic traditions while also shaped by her years living and working in Zagreb.
In recent years, she has begun integrating artificial intelligence into her creative process, exploring how AI can interact with traditional artistic practices to reinterpret cultural symbols, narratives and visual language in new ways.
Her work reflects an ongoing interest in how human creativity, heritage and artistic identity continue to evolve in technologically shaped environments while remaining connected to memory, materiality and human expression.
