Professor Carl Gombrich is the Dean and a founding member of the London Interdisciplinary School (LIS), an innovative university committed to interdisciplinary education. Previously, he was a Professorial Teaching Fellow at University College London (UCL), where he helped create the UK’s first Bachelor in Arts and Sciences (BASc) degree, a program designed to integrate knowledge across diverse fields.
A recognized authority on interdisciplinary learning, Carl frequently speaks on topics like the philosophy of expertise, future work trends, and the role of interdisciplinary education in addressing complex global challenges.
