Before establishing YellowNest, Kannan worked as a consultant at McKinsey & Co, where he gained deep expertise in operations and human resources, with a focus on family office environments like News Corp, Liberty Media, and ESI Media. His background in systems change, human capital management, and corporate fundraising now fuels his efforts to transform the early education sector.
An Executive MBA graduate from Oxford University, Kannan researched employer-supported childcare models to understand how businesses can enhance access to early childhood education for working families. His dedication to social impact in education earned him recognition as an Acumen UK 2024 Fellow.
