Gender Equality Plan (GEP) for Saviesa

This Gender Equality Plan (GEP) is designed to promote equal opportunities and eliminate gender-based discrimination in line with the European Union’s Horizon Europe requirements. The plan integrates structural changes to support gender equality, inclusion, and fair representation within Saviesa’s activities and decision-making processes.

Ensure gender balance in leadership and decision-making roles.

Promote work-life balance and an inclusive organizational culture.

Implement fair recruitment, career progression, and professional development opportunities.

Integrate gender perspectives into Saviesa’s research and innovation activities.

3.1. Public Document and Official Endorsement

This GEP is a formal document, approved by Saviesa’s top management and publicly available on the company’s website. It reflects the company’s commitment to
gender equality and details clear actions and objectives.

3.2. Dedicated Resources

Saviesa allocates dedicated resources to implement this plan, including a Gender Equality Officer responsible for overseeing the execution of gender-related initiatives.
Additionally, budget allocations will support gender training, mentorship programs, and policy reviews.

3.3. Data Collection and Monitoring

Saviesa will collect and report sex-disaggregated data on employee composition, leadership representation, pay structures, and promotion rates. Regular gender audits will be conducted to assess progress and inform necessary policy adjustments.

3.4. Training and Awareness

Gender equality training programs will be mandatory for all staff, with specific sessions for hiring managers and leadership. Topics include unconscious bias, inclusive leadership, and gender-sensitive recruitment practices.
